الوصف الوظيفي:
For our Israeli-Palestinian team in Jerusalem we are looking for a Project Manager. FNF is a platform of innovation for enhancing freedom in society, strengthening dialogue with the European Union and contributing to the advancement of Israeli-Palestinian dialogue. Together with our partners, we want to strengthen liberal core values such as the rule of law and democracy, the respect of human dignity with civil and human rights, market economy principles and entrepreneurship and a democratic culture of tolerance and pluralism.

The “Project Manager” supports the Head of Office in the planning, conceptualization, coordination, implementation and evaluation of activities and programs and the related financial and administrative work. 

The field of responsibility includes the projects managed by FNF Office Jerusalem and, upon special request of the Head of Office, any other project if the requested tasks are in line with the defined responsibilities below.

The “Project Manager” has the following tasks and functions:

Program Planning
Establish draft of Annual Planning for assigned projects
Draft concept papers for each line of activities
Coordinate and hold meetings with partners to define the cooperation
Design specific programs, approach experts and coordinate with partners
Permanently develop and up-date list of activities
Establish combined plan of activities and budget
Establish detailed job lists for projects
Coordinate with Financial Officer
Support Head of Office in elaborating applications to funding institutions.
Implementation of Activities
Select trainers and speakers for the events
Select and invite participants
Define all relevant logistical needs and ensure logistic coordination with venues, hotels and service providers for transportation, translation etc.
Moderation of events
Follow discussions and write reports about the activities
Ensure follow-up and documentation of participants, speakers, results of discussions and of work material
Cooperation and communication with other colleagues involved.
Evaluation and Analysis
Evaluation of activities and definition of next steps
Regular briefing of the Head of Office on projects’ progress and discussion of strategy
Maintaining contacts relevant for the project to develop it further
Monitor political developments relevant to the project and write analysis about politics and developments in the region.
 
متطلبات الوظيفة:
University graduate with relevant degree and at least six to eight years of work experience in a relevant field.
Knowledge and interest in Palestinian social developments, local and national politics.
Passion for liberal values and good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a diverse team and desire to learn new things
Excellent English and Arabic skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of Hebrew and German a bonus
