الوصف الوظيفي:
A Well  recognized  Company  located in Ramallah is seeking to hire  eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Junior Accountant

Starting Date: March-April  2024

Contract Duration: 10-12 months contract

Duty Station : Ramallah

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Prepare the needed financial reports, monthly closing, and cost accounting reports in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting system and accounting control procedures.
Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, invoices, and other accounting documents.
Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
Develop and maintain financial databases, computer and manual filing systems.
Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial system.
Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
Develop the annual operating budget and consult with departmental management on the fiscal aspects of program planning, salary recommendations, and other administrative actions.
Maintain asset, liability, revenue, and expenses records by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains and balances sub accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare periodic bank reconciliation.
Perform other duties that may assigned.

متطلبات الوظيفة:
The Following Qualification and Experience is required

Bachelor's degree in in accounting or relevant field required.
Minimum three years of working experience in the accounting field.
Experience in accounting for similar projects financed by donors is also relevant.
Knowledge of USAID financial management-related rules and regulations and reporting preferred.
Understanding of the principles of adequate documentation and audit, and of the procedures necessary to ensure audit compliance required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks is required.
Strong multi-tasking, organizational, problem solving, and time-management skills required.
Excellent communication skills as well as: a) proactive problem-solving abilities independently and with teams, b) a strong service orientation, and c) inter-personal skills, self-awareness and emotional intelligence required.
Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English required.
Knowledge of Palestinian and Israeli traffic laws and regulations is required
Good knowledge of Jerusalem and West Bank road systems
