Job Description
Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Mid-Level Accountant for a Palestinian IT Outsourcing Services Company working with international clients in Europe and the US.

The job is 70% Remote, and 30% On-site (Ramallah Office).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial records and transactions: Perform bookkeeping, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, using specialized accounting software and systems.
Invoicing: work internally across organizations to collect the necessary data to generate invoices for customers. 
Tax: Stay updated on tax laws and regulations specific to the IT industry. Assist in tax planning strategies, identify eligible deductions and credits, and accurately prepare and file tax returns for the company.
Support in Financial statement preparation and analysis: Assist in preparing periodic financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, specifically tailored to the IT industry. Assist in analyzing statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement within the company.
Support in Financial planning and budgeting: Collaborate with management to develop comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts specifically aligned with the IT industry. Analyze historical data, market trends, and business goals to assist in financial planning and decision-making.
Internal controls and audits: Participate in internal or external audits to assess the effectiveness of financial processes and controls.
Collaboration and communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the IT company to gather financial information and provide insights. Present financial data, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
 
Requirements
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax regulations.
Working experience in ERP accounting systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on IT financials.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting, especially within the IT industry.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with IT professionals and stakeholders.
Years of experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an accountant in an IT company or a similar role.

 
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are a plus.

 
Location:

70% Remote, and 30% On-site (Ramallah Office), Palestine.

Languages Required:

Fluent in Arabic & English.
