Position: Mechanical & Electrical Engineer
Education background:
-College degree in Mechanical Engineer (MBA is a plus):
Skills & Qualifications:
-Practical experience in the Food Industry. Knowledge & experience in production lines preferred in food sector.
-Equipment Maintenance, Technical Understanding, Safety, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Supervision, Job Knowledge, Productivity.
-Knowledge of project management principles and practices
-Information technology skills
-Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.
-Excellent communication skills in both Arabic an English (written and spoken)
-Ability to analyze information & numbers and optimize processes
-High stress tolerance and ability to communicate with multiple teams in a diverse workplace.
-Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS office and ERP systems.
-Leader and excellent people manager, open to direction and a collaborative work style.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
-Excellent reporting skills.
-Persuasive with details and facts.
-Ability to travel.
-Valid Palestinian driving license.
General Goals
-Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical& electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
-Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
-Manage all mechanical and electrical tasks such as and not limited to “-18 refrigerated storage, Dates dry house, Dates fumigation house, Initial sorting house, Boxes washing machine, main offices and others”.
-Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
-Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
-Research and seek new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
