Travel Agent Job Vacancy

Samar Tours is a travel agent based in Ramallah, operating in the industry since 2005, is currently seeking to fill the position of travel agent. He/She is required to facilitate professional, accurate and cost-effective travel arrangements for clients. 
Duties and Responsibilities:

-Completes travel arrangements for clients
-Follow and suggest improvements in company procedures in the areas of customer service, ticketing, invoicing, attendance, accuracy of work etc
-Stays fully informed on all airline rules and regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements
-Performs other office functions as needed and seeks ways to personally add to the overall efficiency of the operation

Skills Required:

-Overall travel industry knowledge and experience
-Competent with all aspects of ticketing transactions
-Knowledge of online booking tools
-Knowledge of visa’s requirements 
-Problem solving and initiative
-Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
-Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
-Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, Amadeus systems, GTA system and e-travelling
-Fluency in English is a plus
-Degree in Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field
-Minimum 3 Years Experience in travel agencies
