As  part  of  an  initiative  aimed  at  supporting  and  developing  inclusive  education policies, practice and culture in Awqaf schools in East Jerusalem, Terre des Hommes Italia is  looking for a qualified professional  to be hired, on temporary basis, as Driver/Logistician.
 
Under  the  supervision  of  the  Project  Manager,  the  Driver/Logistician  will  be  committed  to  providing efficient and appropriate technical support to the project on all matters pertaining to equipment and fleet management, and ensuring that TdH It logistics procedures are adhered to and all donor’s requirements met; s/he will conduct market surveys, coordinate staff movements, drive the team daily from Ramallah and in the project schools, supervise office errands and the payment of bills of services and utilities and support the Project Manager in the management of staff safety.
 
Candidates need to possess the following requirements:

-Professional technical degree or equivalent and driving license (yellow plate cars);
-Wide ranging technical skills and high computer proficiency;
-Precision, rapidity, dependability and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks;
-Proven networking and negotiation experience and the ability to work as part of a team;
-Fluency  in  written  and  spoken  Arabic;  Good  command  of  written  and  spoken  English; Hebrew and Italian languages are an asset;
-Previous experience in an NGO environment is an asset;
-High  level  of  commitment  to  the  principles  of  development  and  to  the  goals of TdH It.
