CBH is looking for: 
 

ICU Nurse

Position Description:

ICU nurse provides care for children with life-threatening or high-acuity conditions that require constant monitoring

Position Details:

-Provides professional nursing care in a holistic manner, including health promotion and maintenance. 
-Provides age appropriate care to children admitted to the ICU
-Monitor patients' vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate and breathing and initiative corrective action on an immediate basis
-Administers infusions and monitor special equipment such as ventilators to assess patients' conditions.
-Prepares, administers and records prescribed medications 
-Assists with the insertion or discontinuation of CV catheters, arterial lines, external ventricular drains, epidural catheters and endotracheal tubes, Foleys 
-Works in compliance with WHO patient safety and infection control guidelines.

Position Requirements:

-Bachelor degree in Nursing or any related field
-Minimum 2 years of pediatric ICU experience
-Valid license to practice from ministry of health
-Good command in English language
-Ability to use computer software 
-Able to work as a part of a team or individually with minimum supervision
-Excellent Communication skills.
