About FIS
FIS is a Palestinian technology company established in 1999, providing cybersecurity, enterprise software and SaaS solutions to private and public-sector organizations in Palestine and regional markets.

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Information Security and Infrastructure Department and help implement, maintain and support cybersecurity solutions for our clients.

The Role
The Cybersecurity Engineer will implement, maintain and support cybersecurity solutions for clients, including endpoint and server protection, security management, and data protection solutions. The role combines project delivery, technical troubleshooting and periodic health checks.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the department manager. Training will be provided on specialized cybersecurity solutions, with opportunities to develop technical expertise across the FIS portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure and deploy cybersecurity solutions across client environments, including endpoints, servers and related infrastructure.
Perform periodic health checks, review alerts and logs, identify issues and prepare clear findings and recommendations.
Support the implementation and maintenance of specialized security and data protection solutions following training and under appropriate technical supervision.
Troubleshoot technical issues, manage support requests and coordinate with vendor support teams through resolution.
Carry out updates, upgrades and configuration changes following approved procedures and agreed maintenance windows.
Document configurations, deployment activities and support cases, and prepare project handover and health-check reports.
Provide client guidance and basic administrator training on implemented solutions.
Participate in implementing and supporting additional cybersecurity solutions within the FIS portfolio.
Contribute to vulnerability assessments and authorized penetration-testing engagements where skills and project needs align.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Required Qualifications and Experience

2–4 years of relevant hands-on experience in IT systems, networks or cybersecurity implementation and support.
Good practical knowledge of Windows, Windows Server and Linux administration and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls and VPNs.
Familiarity with endpoint and server protection, security policies, access controls and log analysis.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate issues methodically.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, document technical work and follow up on support requests.
Good written and spoken English for technical documentation, vendor support and client communication.
Willingness to learn specialized solutions and carry out on-site implementation and support activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Preferred Experience and Certifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be considered an advantage:

Hands-on experience with endpoint protection, endpoint detection and response (EDR), or other enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
Practical experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, including clear reporting and remediation recommendations.
Relevant cybersecurity, networking or vendor certifications will be considered an advantage.
