Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) is Gaza’s first and only innovation hub and start-up accelerator, operated by Mercy Corps (MC), an international non-profit relief and development organization that has been implementing programs in the occupied Palestinian territories since the 1980s. GSG was founded by Mercy Corps in partnership with Google.org in 2011, with the aim of transforming Gaza’s most talented youth into the Middle East’s future technology leaders and realizing Gaza’s potential as a regional start-up hub.
In addition to running tech ecosystem activities and outreach events, GSG offers a co-working hub, as well as incubation and acceleration programs. Beginning in 2017, GSG also launched two new programming verticals under its brand.
Scope of Work:
Program: Individual training – Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG)
Position: packaging design instructor.
The scope of his/her services is MaltiMedia Co-instructor, with a focus on packaging design and graphic design.
Objective
The Co-Instructor will support participants by delivering training sessions, providing guidance, and ensuring effective follow-up to maximize learning outcomes and improve participants’ employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Training Support
follows up schedules, share session details, and track participants' attendance.
Provide technical and logistical support during sessions.
Follow up with participants on attendance. Session Delivery.
Participant Assistance
Address inquiries and resolve technical issues during sessions.
Follow up and support the participants through online communication channels.
Support the instructor by following up on the required assignments for the participants based on the instructor's guidelines.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain records of training activities, materials, and attendance.
Share the recorded session through the communication channels according to the GSG team guidance.
Provide regular updates and reports on training progress.
Timeline & Duration
Frequency: will be 2 to 3 sessions a week, for a total of up to 25 weeks
Level of Effort (LoE)
The instructor is expected to dedicate a total of [120] hours during the assignment.
This includes preparation, session delivery, follow-up, reporting, and coordination tasks.
متطلبات الوظيفة:Co-Instructor Qualifications
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia or any specialization related
Has worked for more than 1 years in packaging design, graphic design or any related specializations within the creative track.
Terms of Payment:
5% income tax will be deducted from the invoice amount.
Payment Schedule
Payment for the services shall be made in two installments.
First installment (50%): Payable upon successful completion of the first training cohort, consisting of 60 training hours.
Second installment (50%): Payable upon successful completion of the second training cohort, consisting of 60 training hours.
