The Psychosocial Counselling Center for Women (PSCCW) is a Palestinian non-governmental organization working throughout the West Bank to support women and children, particularly those living in the most marginalized and vulnerable communities.
PSCCW provides a comprehensive package of services, including mental health and psychosocial support, legal assistance, and economic empowerment initiatives. The organization also works to facilitate women's and children's access to protection services and strengthen community responsibility and engagement in promoting and defending the rights of women and children.

SOS Children’s Villages Palestine is a non-governmental, non-profit organization working to ensure that children and young people grow up in a supportive family environment and have access to quality education, healthcare, and psychosocial support. The organization focuses on strengthening vulnerable families, preventing child separation, and promoting child rights through community- .based programs across the West Bank and Gaza
Under the ongoing partnership between PSCCW and SOS Children's Villages Palestine, PSCCW seeks to recruit a qualified Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of the project “Empowerment of Community Structure in Northern West Bank project”. This project aims to strengthen the protection, resilience, and wellbeing of children and young people in vulnerable communities across the northern West Bank, particularly in Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarem, Salfit and Tubas, including their refugee camps—with potential expansion to central West Bank areas
Job Purpose
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of project activities in accordance with approved work plans, budgets, donor requirements, and PSCCW's internal policies and procedures. The position requires close coordination and networking with various stakeholders, including community leaders, activists, community-based organizations, schools, universities, local authorities, and service providers to ensure effective collaboration, smooth implementation, and achievement of project objectives at the community level
Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Coordination
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of all project activities across the five target governorates and follow up on action plans arising from coordination meetings, field visits, and stakeholder consultations.
Develop detailed implementation plans with SOS Children's Villages Palestine and other project partners to ensure effective implementation and achievement of project objectives .
Monitor project progress against established timelines and targets and ensure compliance with project standards and requirements.
Coordinate effectively with targeted community-based organizations (CBOs), schools, local authorities, universities, and other relevant stakeholders To ensure meaningful participation of children, caregivers, and community members in project activities in accordance with child participation and protection principles..
Organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, training sessions, awareness campaigns, and community events.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between PSCCW and SOS Children's Villages Palestine teams.
Identify implementation challenges and propose appropriate mitigation measures and ensure timely escalation of critical issues to management.
Ensure that all project activities are implemented in accordance with child safeguarding standards, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) principles, gender-sensitive approaches, and relevant protection standards.
Reporting, Monitoring, and Documentation
Maintain accurate project records and supporting documentation To ensuring that all project documents are properly organized, archived, and accessible for audits, reviews, and donor verification purposes.
Support data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes by ensuring the timely and accurate collection and verification of project data, coordinating with SOS Children's Villages Palestine and other stakeholders, and contributing to performance analysis, learning, and continuous improvement of project implementation..
Representation and Networking
Represent PSCCW in relevant coordination meetings and forums related to the project. as ensuring effective communication, coordination, and alignment with key stakeholders.
Strengthen partnerships with local stakeholders and promote community engagement throughout project implementation. To ensure inclusive participation and effective project delivery.
Foster positive working relationships with beneficiaries, community representatives, and partner organizations to enhance coordination, strengthen community trust, and support the achievement of project objectives.
متطلبات الوظيفة:Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or another relevant field.
Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in project coordination and implementation, preferably in child protection, psychosocial support, or community-based programming.
Demonstrated experience working with NGOs and donor-funded projects.
Strong understanding of child protection principles, safeguarding, PSEA, and gender-sensitive programming.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in Arabic and strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and report writing.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with beneficiaries, community stakeholders, government representatives, partner organizations, and project teams, and to foster productive working relationships and collaboration..
Strong networking and stakeholder engagement abilities including the capacity to build and maintain effective professional relationships with diverse partners, facilitate collaboration, and ensure active coordination and alignment among stakeholders to achieve program objectives..
Ability to work independently and under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic working environments demonstrating strong time management, prioritization skills, and resilience to deliver high-quality results within tight timelines and in demanding working environments.
Commitment to humanitarian principles and safeguarding standards.
Additional Requirements
Valid Palestinian driving license.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in Nablus Governorate.
Strong command of English and Arabic (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively, prepare reports, and facilitate coordination in both languages
