Duty Station: Hebron with occasional travel across West Bank
Reporting to: Finance Coordinator
Contract: Limited Time Contract- Renewal upon needs

Since 2020, WeWorld has rapidly expanded its operations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, leading to a need for additional personnel to assist its current emergency operations, and to lead the future expansion in the development area.
Purpose of the Role:
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Accountancy and financial tasks
Assist the Finance coordinator in the book-keeping and documents organization, following WW financial procedures for all projects implemented in the area:
Respect the financial planning & Core budget allocations of the assigned projects, assure the consistency with the allocations of budgets.
Recording day by day all the transactions on the financial system, collecting and controlling all the related supporting documents.
Control that the original documentation is completed before the payments (Contracts, VAT exemptions, Invoices, payment authorizations, purchase orders and procurement procedures when applicable) and after the payment (receipts, copies of cheques etc)
Preparation of the bank transfer/Cheque related to payments (weekly visit to Ramallah) and upon needs.
Collaborate with the Finance Coordinator for the reconciliation of the projects accountancy day by day and monthly
Ensure that all projects Original documents are archived and tidy and set in a proper safe place.
Management of the field office cash under direct supervision of Area manager (outstanding cash requests, efficiently management of the cash following GVC procedure, recording day by day for cash NIS or according to the Expatriate Administrator).
Contact the Finance coordinator to update availability of funds (bank reconciliation) and prioritize payments with the projects teams accordingly.
Prepare all needed documents, files or information as asked by the DFM /FM/Reporting Specialist for any audit mission related to any project at Hebron Office.
Print the vouchers and organize the accountancy folders by budget line in chronological order
Collect and archive HR documents related to project documentation.

Daily PRFU matrix.
Any additional tasks requested by FC/DFM/FM
The duties and responsibilities set forth above are not exhaustive and the role holder may be required to perform additional duties requested by the Line Manager.

Minimum experience of [3] years in same or similar role
Minimum experience of 3 years in an NGO
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Fluency in Arabic and good command of English
Residence in or near the advertised duty station
Willingness to travel to other WeWorld offices in Ramallah upon request
