Field monitor 

Location: based in Tulkarem or Jenin

Overview:

Global Communities is seeking a Field Monitor for the Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) of the Food Security Program (FSP) in the West Bank. The project aims to prevent malnutrition among pregnant and lactating women by implementing scheduled SBCC activities including orientation, nutrition awareness, cooking sessions and psychosocial support in Jenin and Tulkarem. Using mobile teams and community based venues the project aims to reach 1000 women every six months with interactive , practical, and cultural sensitive sessions.

Key responsibilities: include conducting site visits, gathering data through surveys and interviews, verifying compliance with project guidelines, and reporting on program indicators. Specific responsibilities include the following:

Conduct field visits to collect quantitative and qualitative data through surveys, interviews, and assessments.
Track progress against project indicators
Ensure that activities comply with established guidelines, GC and donor regulations, and project plans.
Compile and submit reports on data collected, project progress, and any identified challenges or issues.
Liaise with communities and local partners and implement mechanisms for collecting feedback and complaints.
Provide technical support to project staff and partners, and assist with activities like training, needs assessments, and baseline surveys. 
Engage with beneficiaries in person and on the phone and through social media.
Conduct frequent travel across multiple implementation sites in Jenin and Tulkarem as part of daily field activities and monitoring responsibilities.

Required qualifications and skills

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, social sciences, development studies, or a related field, with Five Years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with computer applications like word processing and spreadsheets is necessary.
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential. The ability to work independently, manage conflicting priorities, and build relationships within communities is also important.
