الوصف الوظيفي:
Founded in 1993, Médecins du Monde Switzerland is a medical association of international solidarity that is part of the Médecins du Monde network. We provide sustainable access to health care for people in vulnerable situations in Switzerland and around the world.  

MdM Switzerland, has been working in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) since 1994 in the sector of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), implementing emergency and development interventions, focusing on victim of occupation-related violence, children and detention, suicide prevention and management, strengthen of access to mental health cares at national and community level, and advocacy initiative.  

Main objective:

To plan, manage, evaluate, and adapt the implementation of MdM project(s) in line with the logical framework, donor requirements, and MdM’s strategy, standards,guidelines and approaches, while leading and motivating a team to achieve program goals effectively and ensure overall quality
Specific objectives:

Participate to the strategic, technical and operational development of project’s scope of intervention
Ensure effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and adaptation of program activities and budget lines in line with MdM’s intervention strategy and donor requirements.
Provide leadership and support to the program team, including social workers and psychologists, to deliver high-quality training, counseling, and psychosocial response services.
Contribute to the overall program’s strategy development and revision
Contribute to the internal programmatic coordination, knowledge management, capitalization and lessons learned processes, and lead when required
Support internal and external capacity strengthening efforts
Support the reinforcement of localization and partnerships
Maintain program accountability and quality through robust supervision, reporting, and coordination until successful project closure, with all parties concerned
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Contribute to the program strategy development and revision
Participate to the go-no-go meetings
Contribute to the project development and concept notes/proposal development, and take the lead when required
Lead, supervise, and support a multidisciplinary team through coaching, performance appraisals, and regular case discussions to ensure quality service delivery.
Plan, implement, and monitor program activities using clear work plans, schedules, and follow-up tools to ensure timely, quality outcomes through to project completion.Oversee the design and delivery of trainings, counseling, and psychosocial support, ensuring alignment with technical standards, protection principles, and beneficiary needs.
Ensure robust data collection, analysis, and reporting systems that meet MdM and donor requirements, including tracking of indicators and use of beneficiary feedback.
Ensure a proper budget follow-up in collaboration with the support departments. Manage program budget and resources, ensuring compliance with financial procedures and cost-efficiency, while coordinating with logistics/procurement for timely support.
Represent the program externally, building partnerships and presenting progress, challenges, and results to donors, partners, and coordination bodies.
Contribute to the identification of partners and support the partnership coordination
Participate to lessons learned and capitalization efforts
Participate to program coordination meetings and activities, and lead when required
Identify the plan for needs assessments, in coordination with the program coordinator and field coordinator, and organize the efforts
Support the development of communication materials showcasing MdM’ impact
Support the evidence-based advocacy work in collaboration with the advocacy coordinator, the program team and the program coordinator
Lead risk analysis and contingency planning, proposing adaptations in response to context changes and contributing to preparedness plans.
Ensure safe, functional referral pathways and updated mapping of services in collaboration with protection actors.
Promote staff well-being and resilience, identifying stress or burnout and facilitating access to support where needed.
Support program learning and advocacy through needs assessments, evaluations, capitalization processes, and contribution to relevant MdM advocacy efforts.
Coordinates with the MHPSS officer for the field staff supervision
Reporting:

Ensure the timely and qualitative reporting for the project s/he is responsible for and participate in the drafting of project reports for various donors, in accordance with their specific guidelines.
Ensure the timely and qualitative reporting to clusters, including on acivity info with the support of the MEAL officer
Submit monthly reports to the direct supervisor.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in psychology, social work, public health, project management, or another relevant social sciences field.
At least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in managing humanitarian or development projects, preferably in mental health and psychosocial support or protection sectors.
Proven understanding of MHPSS standards, protection principles, and community-based approaches.
Demonstrated ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams (social workers, psychologists, trainers) and coordinate complex activities.
Strong project cycle management skills (planning, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation)
Other requirements:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and representation skills
Experience working with vulnerable communities and in complex/conflict-affected settings
Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other project management tools
Leadership, diplomatic and analytical skills
Reactivity, anticipation, adaptability, capacity to take initiatives
Autonomy to work independently and without constant supervision
Understand and analyze a health context, health problems and data
Ability to manage priorities effectively
Good skills in organization, coordination and transfer of knowledge
Ability to work in a difficult security context and willingness to accept security protocols
Ability to work in a team.
Valid driving license (if required for field travel)
CONDITIONS:  

The position is based in Bethlehem, with frequent visits to East Jerusalem and South of West Bank. 
Contract Duration: 07 months renewable. 
Working Hours: Standard office working hours from Sunday to Thursday.
