الوصف الوظيفي:
Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.

MSFF is looking for SGBV Officer  to be part of team in its project in Nablus 

Workplace:                   Main office is in Nablus with frequent visits to Qalqiliya and Tubas. 

Type of contract :        Fixed Term Contract 

Starting date:               October 2025

Main purpose of the position

 The SGBV officer is responsible for comprehensive management and monitoring of SGBV strategy and care for survivors of sexual violence (SV) and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in the MSF project in Nablus clinic according to MSF values, standards, protocols and guidelines. She is part of the multidisciplinary clinical team with social workers, psychologists, cultural mediators and MHGap Doctor.

Responsibilities
1) Assessment and strategy

In collaboration with Medical Team Leader, monitor SGBV strategy in the project based on MSF’s overall strategy and procedures for SGBV

2) Comprehensive medical care

In collaboration with the Medical Team Leader, ensure the implementation of the care pathway for SGBV activities according to MSF SV guidelines and MSF standards and procedures
Provide quality comprehensive medical care and individual counselling session following MSF standards and guidelines.
Support in a collaborative way the MSF team to ensure comprehensive care for SV and IPV victims
Ensure all supplies, equipment, documentation, and drugs are in place to provide care for SV and IPV victims during daily activities in the clinic
Ensure survivor-centered principles are well respected as privacy and confidentiality.
Refer patients to other team members, specialists, actors or institutions for further assistance, when necessary for the best interest of the patient.
3) Community engagement and awareness raising

In collaboration with the Medical Team Leader and the Mental Health Activitiy Manager,  train, support and follow up of the clinical team for SGBV awareness raising and community engagement to develop and improve awareness raising activities and community dialogue, discussion and messaging, materials and methods regarding the medical and psychological consequences of GBV, availability of medical and psychosocial care and the importance of timely access after SV
4) Training and capacity building

With support of the Medical Team Leader and the Mental Health Activitiy Manager, identify training needs, organize and coordinate training and capacity building about SGBV for MSF team and others partners
5) Networking and coordination

Attend all the weekly meeting: multidisciplinary team meeting to discuss SGBV cases management individually and ensure holistic care, supervision group and triage meeting
Participate in any necessary training offered by the organization
Informs line manager of any problem of any kind arising during the day-to-day activities, discuss difficulties and problems
In collaboration with the SGBV activity manager, participate in GBV sub-cluster meetings, maintain contacts / communicate and coordinate with the different formal and informal support services (mapping and networking)
6) Monitoring and evaluation

Ensure data collection and storage in collaboration with SGBV activity manager and Data officer, with ensured confidentiality
Ensure data analysis and provide monthly report to the SGBV activity manager

Education: Midwifery diploma required

Experience:

Minimum of 3-year experience required
Experience working with SGBV survivors or providing community awareness information, education and communication activities about SGBV required.
Experience training and capacity building desirable.
Experience with NGO desirable.
Languages     

Local language and English essential (English is the mission language)

Competencies

Accountability, spirit of initiative / autonomy, teamwork, flexibility, commitment, communication skills.
Basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
