About GSG:
Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) is Gaza’s first and only innovation hub and start-up accelerator, run by Mercy Corps (MC), a non-profit international relief and development organisation with programs in the occupied Palestinian territories since the 1980s. Mercy Corps founded GSG in partnership with Google.org in 2011 with an aim to transform Gaza’s most talented youth into the Middle East’s technology business leaders and to realise Gaza’s potential as a start-up hub. In addition to running tech ecosystems and outreach events, the GSG co-working hub, incubation and acceleration programs, beginning in 2017 GSG will be launching two new programming verticals under our brand.

About CEH Certificate:
The Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certificate, offered by EC-Council, is a globally recognized credential in the field of cybersecurity. It validates an individual's expertise in identifying vulnerabilities in computer systems and networks, using the same tools and techniques as malicious hackers—but in an ethical and legal manner.

The certification is widely respected in industries like IT security, finance, government, and telecommunications, making it an excellent choice for individuals looking to advance their career in cybersecurity.

Scope of Work:
As a mentor, you will be responsible for:

Sync with GSG Focal Points: The mentor should participate in brief (10-15 minutes) sync meetings on demand to review progress, resolve any issues, and ensure the program is proceeding smoothly.
Office Hours: The mentor is expected to open office hours for students where they can attend in groups or individually to clarify concepts, support students in overcoming learning obstacles, and answer their questions.
Following up with students on Telegram: The mentor is expected to maintain professional communication with the participants through Telegram direct messages and the dedicated Telegram group for the program.
The mentor is expected to start on 5 October 2025 until 30 November 2025 for a total of 40 hours.

The program is fully online and will be delivered via Zoom.

Payment:
One payment will be made after completing the work.

The payment will be issued based on actual implementation and upon submitting a signed timesheet and a financial claim and a report.

A 10% Tax will be deducted from the actual payment if a valid Deduction at Source Certificate is not available.
