Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) is undergoing a full website redevelopment to modernize its digital presence and provide an exceptional experience for its diverse audience, including tech learners, companies, donors, mentors, and the general public.
The new website must be mobile-first, SEO-optimized, fast, secure, and seamlessly integrated with internal systems. The UI/UX Developer will play a crucial role in designing and delivering a user-centered interface that aligns with GSG’s mission, vision, and technical goals.
Project Goals
Modernize the website design to reflect GSG’s mission, impact, and innovation.
Improve technical performance: speed, responsiveness, accessibility, SEO, and security.
Centralize content management through a custom CMS (or modern framework).
Optimize user journeys for programs, courses, events, donations, and volunteer engagement.
Strengthen storytelling, impact presentation, and CTAs.
Ensure modular scalability for future updates and programs.
Integrate analytics, notifications, and communication tools.

Research & Discovery
Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and understand target audience needs.
Perform a UX audit of the current website, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Define user personas, user flows, and journey maps for key audiences.
Research best practices in accessibility (WCAG 2.1), SEO-friendly design, and mobile-first UX.
UI/UX Design
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for all site sections, including:
Homepage
About Us
Programs
Courses
Events
Case Studies
Media & Resources
Get Involved
Donate
Contact Us
User Journey Optimization
Simplify and optimize navigation and internal linking to improve user flow.
Create clear CTAs (Call to Actions) such as Apply, Donate, Hire Talent, and Learn More.
Design intuitive forms for program applications, donations, and event registrations.
Usability Testing & Iteration
Conduct usability testing with key stakeholders and sample end-users.
Collect feedback and refine designs to resolve any usability issues.
Ensure designs are compliant with accessibility and SEO standards.
Handover & Support
Deliver final design files in Figma or Adobe XD, ready for development handoff.
Provide documentation on design decisions, workflows, and components.
Conduct a handover session with the development team to ensure smooth implementation.
Timeline
Project Duration: October 1, 2025 – October 30, 2025 (4 Weeks)
Key Deliverables
UX Audit Report with identified issues and improvement recommendations.
User personas, user flows, and journey maps.
Wireframes and interactive prototypes for all pages and modules.
Final high-fidelity design files for desktop and mobile.
Comprehensive design system and style guide.
Usability testing report with feedback and final improvements.
Handover package with design assets and documentation.
Payment
Payment will be made in one installment upon successful delivery and approval of:
Final designs
Design documentation with handover session completion
A 10% income tax will be deducted from the actual payment if a valid Deduction at Source is not available
