Position Title: One Master Trainer (EORE/CPP)

Location: Jenin and Tulkarem

Report to: Risk Education Manager

Duration: 5 months (with the possibility of extension)

MA’AN Development Center is an independent Palestinian non-profit organization, established in Jerusalem in January 1989. Relying on a human rights-based approach, community partnerships, and active participation, MA’AN works to enhance the resilience, empowerment, and realization of the rights of those most in need, the poor and marginalized groups and individuals, as well as unleash their latent capacities to enhance their active participation in sustainable development and their abilities to respond to and recover from crises.

About the project:
In partnership with DanChurchAid, MA’AN is implementing “Emergency WASH and EORE Awareness Support for Displaced and Conflict-Affected Households in the Northern West Bank.” project that aims at providing the internally displaced individuals in Jenin and Tulkarem with access to WASH services and EORE awareness sessions.

MA'AN seeks to hire a competent (Master Trainers) responsible for mentoring and coaching EORE/CPP facilitators to enhance the efficiency of risk education activities of MA’AN in Northern West Bank (Tulkarem and Jenin). The Master Trainer will conduct training sessions, develop materials, and evaluate facilitator performance to ensure high-quality program delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide coaching and mentorship to EORE/CPP Facilitators to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of EORE and CPP activities.
Support the planning and implementation of EORE/CPP activities with needed weekly plans.
Conduct EORE/CPP/PFA training sessions for trainers, targeting aid workers, community focal points, and teachers.
Develop and update training materials and methodologies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of EORE/CPP Facilitators and provide feedback for improvement.
Coordinate with the Risk Education Manager to align training activities with overall program goals.
Monitor the evaluation process and the materials’ distribution plans with needed field visits and supervising.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering training programs in the field of EORE/CPP.
Proven experience in mentoring and capacity building.
Strong understanding of EORE, CPP, and PFA principles and practices.
Proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
Competencies:

Training and facilitation skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
Analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate outcomes.
Adaptability and resilience in challenging environments.
Knowledge of the local context and security situation in Northern West Bank.
