The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem is currently looking for qualified candidates for the current job post; Information Technology and Risk Manager Assistant –Full Time Duty, under the direct supervision of the Information Technology and Risk Manager at the HQ offices in Jerusalem.

General Overview:
Under the supervision of the Information Technology and Risk Manager, the IT Assistant, located at the HQ offices in Jerusalem is responsible of supporting the IT and Risk Manager in overseeing the information technology systems of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and its IT infrastructure, serving the three regions of LPJ in Israel, Palestine, and Jordan, ensuring efficient operating, security, and scalability. This role involves managing IT projects, supporting end users, and implementing technology solutions that align with institutional goals.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Assist in developing and executing IT strategies and roadmaps.
Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Manage IT support and infrastructure teams, providing leadership and guidance.
Ensure IT systems, networks, and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.
Coordinate IT projects, including hardware and software implementation.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Work with vendors and service providers to procure IT solutions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for IT-related expenses.
Ensure proper data backup and disaster recovery planning.
Stay updated with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements.
Provide training and support to employees on IT systems and security policies.
Ensure full compliance with LPJ’s IT related policies and procedures

متطلبات الوظيفة:
Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree BSC in Computer Science and Information Science.
Proven 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT management and in supporting end users is a plus.
Competencies:

Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) in Arabic, English and Hebrew.
Strong knowledge in IT infrastructure, networking (Switches, Firewalls & Routers), and security protocols.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing, virtualization, Microsoft Operating Systems, Office 365
Good understanding of IT governance, compliance and risk management.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Capacity to work in a multi-cultural environment with strong interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Willingness and ability to travel between and within Jerusalem & Westbank areas, Jordan and Israel independently, and working during holidays and weekends when necessary.
Valid ISRAELI driving license
