Position: Senior Finance & Admin Manager

Location: Ramallah, West Bank

Type: Full-time/Fixed-Term Contract

Reporting to: Deputy Director of Finance - oPt

Salary: ₪ 207,276 per year

** This role will be based in Ramallah but will exclusively support the finance and administration functions of our office in Gaza.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. MAP is seeking a Senior Finance & Admin Manager who will be responsible for overseeing financial controls, compliance, and reporting to ensure effective financial management in alignment with MAP’s policies and donor requirements. This role provides strategic financial oversight, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, reconciliations, and cash flow management while supporting payroll, audits, and regulatory compliance. The position plays a key role in partner financial monitoring, overseeing due diligence, risk mitigation, and grant compliance. It also leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support decision-making. Additionally, the Senior Finance & Admin Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders and donors to ensure financial transparency and accountability, enabling the smooth delivery of MAP’s programs.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
The ideal candidate holds a degree in finance or accounting, with a professional accounting license preferred. They bring significant experience in senior financial management, ideally within an (I)NGO, with expertise in financial controls, budgeting, audits, and donor compliance.

They have a strong track record in team leadership, financial risk management, and partner financial oversight, with the ability to adapt financial systems to complex operational environments like Gaza. Proficiency in financial software, reporting, and strategic cash flow management is also essential. Fluent in English and Arabic, they possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, enabling them to work effectively with donors, partners, and senior leadership while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies.
