Position: Python Developer for Cloud-Native Generative AI Applications

Position: Generative AI and Python Developer

We're seeking an experienced Python and Generative AI developer to join our team in building cloud-native generative AI applications, AI agents, and fine-tuned small language models with a web front end in Microsoft Azure. 

Skills and Experience:
Fine-Tuning Small Language Models: Proficient in fine-tuning small language models (e.g., GPT-3.5, Phi-4) to enhance performance for specific tasks and applications.
Python and Flask: Strong proficiency in Python for developing and deploying machine learning models. Experience with Flask for building and deploying RESTful APIs in a cloud-native microservices architecture.
Cloud-Native Microservices Architecture: Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native microservices using containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to ensure scalable and resilient deployments.
Azure Machine Learning: Extensive experience with Azure Machine Learning for model training, deployment, and management. Ability to leverage Azure ML pipelines, datasets, and compute resources for efficient model fine-tuning.
Azure AI Foundry: Skilled in utilizing Azure AI Foundry for advanced AI model development and customization. Familiarity with integrating AI Foundry tools and services to streamline the fine-tuning process.
Data Preparation and Preprocessing: Expertise in preparing and preprocessing large datasets to ensure high-quality input for model training. Knowledge of data augmentation techniques to improve model robustness.
MLOps: Proficient in MLOps practices to automate and streamline the machine learning lifecycle, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of ML models, monitoring, and governance.
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Knowledgeable in implementing RAG techniques to enhance language models by integrating external knowledge sources, improving the accuracy and relevance of generated content.
 
Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning, model pruning, and other techniques to achieve desired accuracy and efficiency.
 
Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers across multiple time zones and geographies. Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders
Programming Languages and Tools: Python, C#, Java, Semantic Kernel, LangChain
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the lead developer on a project to create a cutting edge AI-driven SLM-powered compliance application designed to use AI agents to automate risk assessment and investigation processes.
Design, develop, and support cloud-native generative AI applications and prerequisite components including but not limited to vector databases, RAG infrastructure, MLOps pipelines, APIs, curated training data, and AI agents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing business processes.
Ensure all solutions meet stringent security and compliance requirements.
Stay updated with the latest AI technologies and trends to drive continuous innovation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in Python development, particularly in AI and machine learning applications.
Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English for oral and written business communications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
