الوصف الوظيفي:
Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a Regional Telecom Company located in Iraq. Palestinian and Jordanian candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Reporting to: CEO

Contract Type: Permanent/ Full-time

Start Date: Jan 2025

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning:
Lead and manage the annual budgeting, financing planning, financing forecast, and investment/project planning activities in coordination with top management.
Establish and maintain relationships with local and international banks and financial institutions to effectively manage the company’s cash flow requirements.
Compliance:
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for managing and controlling the company’s financial transactions including VAT and taxation.
Adhere to and comply with applicable, local and international financial regulations, legislation, reporting standards, and best international practices in the field (including IFRS).
Reporting and Analysis:

Responsible for preparing the annual and on-demand financial statements on time.
Liaise with the internal and external auditors including follow-up action items.
Operations:
Monitor/ supervise the day-to-day financial / accounting operations within the company, such as APs, ARs, LCs and other related transactions.
Oversee treasury operations and planning. 
Ultimately responsible for services for tax clearance, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial affairs as necessary.
Team Management: 

Oversee, recruit, and manage financial department employees.
 
Financial IT Systems:
Ultimately responsible for the accuracy of the financial data on the ERP system.

Special Requirements & Skills: 
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, particularly IFRS.
Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Years of experience:

12+ Years of total experience, 7+ years of relevant experience in a managerial role.

Education:
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
Professional certificates are highly preferred, such as CPA/ CMA.
Location:
Iraq.

Languages Required:
Fluent in English and Arabic.
