Job Vacancy: Research Associate (Analysis and Reporting) 

Arab World for Research and Development (AWRAD) is a pioneering social science research and development firm. We work in Palestine and across the Arab region in the fields of socio-economic research, monitoring and evaluation, survey research, public opinion polling, data analytics, and policy analysis. Moreover, AWRAD has been immersed in emergency and humanitarian research under the prevailing conditions in Gaza, conducting assessments, Third Party Monitoring, data collection and other types of research. AWRAD is seeking highly qualified applicants for the following position: Research Associate with a focus on Analysis and Reporting 

Responsibilities for this position include: 

• Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, 

• Draft high quality analytical research studies and monitoring based on sound social science rigorous approaches, 

• Develop research ideas and contribute to the drafting of research proposals, 

• Design and draft research methods (qualitative and quantitative), 

• Prepare research tools including templates, questionnaires, and protocols for focus groups, interviews, and case studies, 

• Design sample selection and distribution methodology, 

• Train field teams and supervise them, 

• Ensure the highest levels of quality during all stages of research, 

• Overall team support. 
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Applicants MUST have the following competencies: 

• Strong social science background in statistics, sociology, economics (including macroeconomics, microeconomics, and econometrics), political science, public policy, human rights, gender studies, or other related fields, 

• Proven record (of at least 5 years) in research, report writing, and analytical skills, 

• Proven record (of at least 5 years) in preparing complex research proposals, 

• Full fluency in English and Arabic, 

• Proven experience in data analysis, writing reports, research papers, and other related materials. Those who rely on AI MUST Not apply, 

• Experience in the use of modern statistical and data programs, and ability to generate graphs, figures, tables, and other illustrations, 

• Flexible time management and long hours are expected (emphasized); 

• A starting gross salary is based on experience and competence (level 1: $1500; level 2: $2000; level 3: $2500; level 4: $3000).
