About Educaid:
EducAid is an International Non-Governmental Organization established in Italy in March 2000 and recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It promotes the rights of Persons with Disabilities in various countries, including the Occupied Palestinian Territories, through interaction with associations, social enterprises and enthusiastic individuals ethically involved in educational and social work. Its mission is to prevent and reduce the disadvantages and obstacles of individuals with disabilities or those who live in social and cultural difficulties. Additionally, EducAid seeks to build the capacity of the individuals and institutions in terms of education through different means most notably by building an educational system where all the resources in the community thrive through the education system. Furthermore, EducAid aims to ensure the ultimate respect of human rights, in particular the rights of children, persons with disabilities and minority groups, and to encourage policies oriented to gender equality.

Background
The "Tahseen" initiative aims to strengthen the management capacities of 50 Palestinian cooperatives and their sector unions by improving their technical, administrative, financial, and governance skills. The program emphasizes inclusivity, particularly the integration of people with disabilities, and aligns with cooperative principles to foster sustainability and social entrepreneurship.

Purpose of the Role
The Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of activities under the Tahseen program. They will coordinate with partners, stakeholders, and cooperatives to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes and the alignment of activities with cooperative principles and inclusivity goals.

Contract Type: Full Time

Duration: 1 year duration

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Duty Station: Ramallah office, with the ability to move within the West Bank

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Management

Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of all project activities.
Develop detailed work plans and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Coordinate with project partners, including VIS, Bethlehem University, and local stakeholders, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Oversee the integration of disability inclusion across all project activities.
Mapping and Assessment Activities

Supervise the implementation of the Disability Inclusion Audit in target cooperatives.


Collaborate with the Disability Focal Point and Help Desks to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
Support the architect in conducting field visits and accessibility assessments.
Capacity Building and Training

Coordinate the development and delivery of training modules on disability inclusion and universal design.
Facilitate the creation and adoption of Formal Inclusion Plans for target cooperatives.
Monitor follow-up visits to ensure the successful implementation of inclusion plans.
Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the primary liaison between project partners, cooperatives, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate working groups and knowledge-sharing sessions among cooperative actors.
Build relationships with unions, cooperatives, and local experts to promote inclusive practices.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

Track project progress and ensure compliance with objectives and timelines.
Collect and analyze data to assess project impact and effectiveness.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the project steering committee and donors.
Event Coordination and Dissemination

Organize the final event at Bethlehem University in collaboration with project partners.
Support the creation of information materials summarizing project outcomes and best practices.
Ensure the publication and dissemination of booklets in Arabic and English.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Qualifications/Requirements

Required degree: bachelor's degree in education, Human Rights, Social sciences, Management, or another relevant field.

Required experience:
At least 3 years of professional work experience at national and/or international level in the field of inclusive education, disability or other relevant programs.

In addition:
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic;
Background in project cycle management, especially logical frameworks;
Proven ability to write clear and effective reports in English;
Excellent communication skills and solid ability to convey a message in different manners according to the stakeholders involved;
Excellent computer skills, especially in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Experience in designing and implementing training programs;
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
Leadership skills and strong motivation;
Experience in projects promoting gender equality and inclusion for persons with disabilities is a strong advantage.
A valid clean driving license is an advantage.
