MA'AN Development Center is seeking to fill the vacant position of a full time

Technical Engineerbased in Jenin 

Position title: Technical Engineer

Duty Station: Jenin with (daily presence in project sites – Jenin camp)

Post Duration: 4 months

Directly Reporting to Project Manager

Major Duties & Activities:
Participate in project planning and coordination meetings with Project Manager, partner, and donor as necessary.
Particiapte with the Project Manager in the technical field visit assessments and in preparation of detailed BoQs and cost estimates
Utilize MA’AN project tools and templates for implementing Shelter repair in accordance with the project scope and existing tools.
Provide weekly reports to the Project Manager, including field updates and progress on deliverables.
Ensure BoQs comply with MA’AN shelter standards, aligned with Shelter Cluster SPHERE standards and Cluster minimum shelter standards.
Supervise repaire works on-site daily and inform the Project Manager of any required changes.
Coordinate milestone visits to project sites to verify deliverables.
Share data inputs with MA’AN programs team for internal reporting and reporting to the Shelter Cluster as needed.
Lead documentation of repair works, including handling complaints, concerns, and on-site verification of delivery notes, ensuring compliance with MA’AN procurement and financial guidelines.
Assist the Project Manager in any other related field work for shelter rehabilitation and follow up with beneficiaries
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Job Qualifications: (PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES)

Relevant Bachelor degree with not less than 5years experience in supervising Rehabilitation of shelters & infrastructures in vulnerable communities.
Physical Ability to present in field on daily basis.
Excellent networking and coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
Possession of a valid driving license is an advantage, as field visits to remote sites are required.
