الوصف الوظيفي:
Bank of Palestine is seeking to recruit a qualified candidate for the position of “Head of Financial Policies Control Section”

Location: Ramallah

Responsibilities:

Review the bank’s financial statements and ensure it was prepared in accordance with the Bank’s financial policies IFRS and PMA instructions.
Preparing reports required by the Financial Controller regarding the adoption impact of newly issued IFRSs and the financial impact of applying newly issued PMA instructions.
Preparing the requirements and reports needed for the annual tax settlements.
Assist in automating reports used by Financial Control departments.
Expressing an opinion regarding accounting guidance for other departments.
Preparing procedures for quarterly financial statements closing process.
Monitor year-end financial statements closing process.
Review the bank’s chart of accounts.
Recommending to the Financial Controller to open or close any accounting ledgers or accounts.
Monitor the reconciliation of financial intermediary accounts.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Job Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial, and Banking sciences, or other related specializations.
At least eight (8) years’ experience in financial and banking.
One of these certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFP) is a big plus.
Excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting in financial performance and indicators.
Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility.
Familiarity with related donors and governmental requirements.
Excellent problem-solving ability, strong analytical skills, financial planning, and analysis background.
Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexibility, and adaptability.
Extensive knowledge of Excel and financial tools (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts).
Good spoken and written Arabic, and English language.
