Job Summary:

As the Senior Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist for our trucking company, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our financial processes. You will be responsible for managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure efficient cash flow management and financial accuracy.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of financial transactions to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve any payment discrepancies or billing issues promptly and professionally.
Monitor cash flow, forecast cash needs, and optimize working capital to support the financial health and growth of the company.
Prepare financial reports, analyze account information, and identify trends to provide valuable insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
Train, mentor, and provide guidance to staff on best practices in accounts payable and accounts receivable management to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
Communicate effectively with top-level management, customers, and stakeholders on financial matters, providing clear and concise updates as needed.
Review and evaluate accounts payable and receivable registers to validate charges, ensure accuracy in payments, and facilitate the timely receipt of payments.
Assist in year-end audits, financial reporting, and budgeting processes to support the overall financial objectives of the company.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification or equivalent skills preferred
Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Fluent English
