Job Vacancy at Caritas Jerusalem: Marketing Specialist

Caritas Jerusalem (CJ), a humanitarian and development organization representing the socio-pastoral services of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, is currently seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Marketing Specialist

Contract Period: 12 months with the possibility of extension(s)
Location: Beit Jala
Status: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Improving the quality and marketing process of dairy products and processed products on family scale start-ups and guiding them on the most appropriate marketing strategies.
Mapping out and analysis of private, and public sectors and international agencies present in the area that offer financing resources.
Design and implement campaigns at the local and national levels to promote micro, small, and medium-sized entrepreneurial businesses.
Ability to deliver training related to market chain analysis, the increase of added value, agri-food products’ marketing, commercialization, marketing, internal management, and market access services.
Ability to create feasibility studies and business plans.
Ability to develop documents such as raising awareness materials, official communications letters, Terms of References, etc.
Ensure coordination with Chambre of Commerce to carry out employability and TVET training for young people together with the project officer.
Ability to identify market needs in the Bethlehem government and design action plans to promote employability and innovative business initiatives.
Follow up, monitor, and consult micro, small, and medium-sized entrepreneurial businesses during the life of the project.

متطلبات الوظيفة:
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in project cycle management, ideally in the fields of agroecology, sustainable development, food security, education, and livelihoods, particularly with youth and women; crosscutting with advocacy and gender equality.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

Experience in developing marketing and business plans, monitoring and consulting entrepreneurial micro, small, and medium-sized businesses.
Experience working with partners, conducting participatory action planning, leading community engagement, and engaging other stakeholders strongly desired.
Experience in organizing campaigns and events related to marketing.
Excellent English and Arabic.
Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Arabic languages. 
Willingness to work in different Caritas Jerusalem premises.
Self-motivation and multitasking are a must.
Ability to work in complex environments with challenges.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness in executing assigned responsibilities.
Observation, active listening, and analysis skills with the ability to make a sound judgment.
Valid driving license.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
