GIZ has been commissioned by the German Government to implement the

“Ziviler Friedensdient (ZFD) / Civil Peace Service (CPS)”

GIZ’s Civil Peace Service (CPS) is currently developing a project to support partner organizations in stress relief. To establish a sustainable culture of self care it is important to cooperate with local experts in this field.

Project Assistant (Part-Time 50%)

Tasks and Functions include but are not limited to:

- Developing materials (flyers, audios, handouts) for motivation and education in the field

of stress relief

- Support in creating a network of Palestinian experts in the field of stress relief

- Developing concepts tailored to the needs of beneficiaries

- Conducting stress relief sessions

- Support in preparation and conduct of a big workshop

- Full Project coordination when CPS project coordinator is absent.

- Translation English- Arabic/ Arabic- English

- Performs other duties and tasks at the request of management.

Required qualifications:

- Qualified Yoga teacher and able to teach teachers (a background in project management and administration is a plus)

- Qualified in methods of trauma release

- Experience in working with marginalized groups, in marketing and PR, and in designing books for children

- English language skills

- Willingness to cooperate continuously with the project coordinator

- Fluent in English and Arabic. German is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under stressful conditions, self-initiator, flexible and able to work with people of

- Different backgrounds, service oriented, friendly personality, well organized and motivated.

- Willingness to up skill as required by the tasks to be performed with people.

Assignment: Starting 10th, October 2017.
