Tomorrow’s Youth Organization (TYO) is an American non-profit organization that works in disadvantaged areas of the Middle East, enabling children, youth and parents to realize their potential as healthy, active and responsible family and community members. With the support of Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) under the Bokrah Project, TYO is recruiting a highly qualified and motivated Psychologist interested in Early Childhood Education, advocacy, health and lifestyle reforms, and civic participation at our flagship center in Nablus, Palestine.

Job Summary

As a TYO Nablus team member, the Nurse will be expected to contribute to all of TYO’s activities and community events as needed. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-    Provide expertise and oversight of children health services through promotion of health education
-    Coordinate referrals to external healthcare institutions
-    Develop plans for children care based on assessment, interventions, and identification of outcomes and evaluation of care
-    Advocate for the physical, emotional, mental, and social health of beneficiaries
-    Actively participate in safety plans that address violence, bullying, and emergencies that may occur

Primary Requirements

-    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or relevant area of study (Master’s degree preferred)
-    3+ years experience as a registered nurse
-    Fluency in Arabic and English
-    Patience and interpersonal communication to develop trust and relationships with young children
-    Excellent organizational and program administration skills, and the initiative to apply them as needed without extensive direction
-    Experience in and enthusiasm for working with children
-    Creativity and positive energy for making a difference 
-    Commitment to TYO’s non-political, non-religious approach
-    Willing to relocate/work in Nablus
