Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an International Medical Organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.

MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill a maternity replacement for the position of :

Sexual and Reproductive Health Officer, Gaza Base (1 Position)

Starting Date: 23rf of October 2016.
Duration:  1 Part time Service contract, 04 months  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

-To implement the reproductive health project in its preparation and development phase in close collaboration with MDM Reproductive Health Doctor
-To support the management of the reproductive health project activities
-To ensure the coordination with partners (local NGO, MoH facilities, UN agencies, etc.)
-To ensure community involvement in needs assessment, project design and implementation
-To support technical assessment(s) of the training needs
-To contribute to the elaboration of the training 
-To promote SRH and family planning rights and practices among all stakeholders 
-Responsible for reporting and follow-up of project activities.

REQUIRMENTS:

-Project management with background/experience in reproductive health
-Experience in public health project/ Support to CBOs/MoH
-Experience in community-based activities, trainings organization
-Experience in assessment, monitoring and evaluation
-Good contact/ patience/ diplomacy/ initiatives/autonomy/dynamism
-Good command of English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken).
-Computer skills (word, excel, power point, statistics software…).
