Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent
Location: Palestine - Ramallah

Role Summary & Duties and Responsibilities:

-    Provide field support for new sites construction in the following areas: site supervision, equipment delivery coordination, path alignment coordination, equipment installation, site turn up and site acceptance.
-    Technical implementation of RBS, TRX and Power System equipment upgrade, installation, integration and commissioning as required by O&M Supervisor.
-    Responding to all Network Operations Center (NOC) call outs within a specified area and take immediate action to resolve faults.
-    Operating and maintaining all electro-mechanical systems supporting the GSM network such as: MDB’s, UPS’s and Air condition.
-    Install, Commission, Optimize, Repair, and Maintain all network infrastructure equipment (Microwave, RBS, Power Systems, Cooling Systems, in-building)
-    Install and/or remove equipment in accordance with applicable technical procedures.
-    Be able to use all testing and measuring tools and equipments.
-    Analyzing and classifying Faults.
-    Act on network performance alarms and track their resolution.
-    Maintain company vehicles and equipment inventory
-    Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
-    Investigate internal and external customer complaints.
-    Must be available on 24 hrs call basis to respond to work needs.
-    Perform work in remote locations on a planned and/or unplanned (emergency) basis.
-    Termination of E1 cables at Krone block between BSC and transmission.
-    Implementation of change configuration of RBS /BTS /Transmission (upgrade /
-    downgrade, Re-homing, Migration).
-    Replaced of IDU,MMU,DRU/ TRE and ODU
-    Replaced of IF/RF cable and re-panning of MW antenna.

Experience & Qualifications:

-    Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Telecom engineering or equivalent.
-    Good understanding of GSM abbreviations.
-    2 years of experience in related role.
-    Must be willing and able to be on call 24/7 if needed.
-    Valid driver's license and good driving record.
-    Work off-normal shifts as required.

 
Skills:

-    Good Communication skills.
-    Ability to work under pressure.
-    Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
-    Computer Literacy knowledge (Microsoft).
