The role

As a System Administrator you will manage and secure servers, endpoints, and cloud environments, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance while supporting daily operations and IT projects.

Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, and optimize Linux and Windows-based servers and endpoints.
Provision, deploy, and manage devices and applications using Microsoft Intune MDM and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
Ensure system availability, performance, and security across platforms.
Support and maintain virtual and cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and AWS environments (VPCs, EC2, VM instances, networking, etc.).
Perform regular system maintenance, patch management, and backup procedures.
Respond to tickets and incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, and proactively resolve root causes.
Monitor system health, usage, and logs for security or performance anomalies.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with IT colleagues and other departments to support business needs and implement technology projects.
Maintain and enforce security policies, permissions, and access controls.
Stay informed of emerging trends in cloud services, modern device management, and system administration.
متطلبات الوظيفة:
Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT support role.
Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Linux (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune MDM and Entra ID (Azure AD concepts, conditional access, device compliance, etc.).
Working knowledge of Azure services (VMs, storage, networking) and/or AWS (EC2, IAM, S3, and VPC).
Strong troubleshooting skills in multi-platform environments.
Understanding of networking principles, firewalls, and security best practices.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS
Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
