About REFORM:

Position Overview:
REFORM is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fundraising and Donor Relations Officer to join its team. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively. Strong communication, research, and proposal-writing skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Proposal Development:

Overall objective: Secure annual funding aligned with REFORM’s strategic goals.

Analyse REFORM's strategy, match with the call for proposals and develop proposals accordingly.
Identify local and international partner organisations including organizing public relation events.
Gather comprehensive data and reports on the current socio-economic, political, and humanitarian landscape in Palestinian society, to inform needs assessments and proposal context.
Lead the development of action plans and budgets.
Lead the development of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
Explore effective strategies for donor mapping and developing comprehensive fundraising
Develop and maintain a pipeline of upcoming funding opportunities, including long-term planning for multi-year funding cycles.
Track donor trends, geopolitical shifts, and sector priorities to anticipate and proactively respond to emerging opportunities.
Donor Relations and Communication:

Build and maintain a database of potential donors and partners; track outreach efforts and outcomes; and reach out to new potential partners and donors (local and international).
Organize and lead meetings with donors and partners, including annual information sessions, prepare communication materials and presentations.
Monitor project contracts and reporting deadlines to ensure timely and compliant reporting.
Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with current donors through regular updates and personalized communication.
Monitor donor feedback and address any concerns promptly to maintain positive relationships.
Additional Responsibilities:

Represent REFORM in line with its mandate.
Participate in strategic planning and theory of change development.
Participate and supervise the coordination of communication events.
Contribute to the development and updating of organizational policies and procedures related to fundraising and donor engagement.
Prepare risk assessment(s) related to donor compliance and funding agreements.
Review and edit reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualifications:
Master’s degree.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within local or international NGOs or civil society organizations.
Demonstrated experience in donor relations, including proposal development, coordinating communication, and reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
Advanced English writing skills, including the ability to produce high-quality proposals, reports and meeting minutes.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Prior experience in public relations and communications within similar organizational settings.
Skills:

Excellent creative and persuasive writing skills.
Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
Strong planning, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Must be native in English, or at least very advanced. (verbal and written)
Ability to perform well under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills, including file archiving and data management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
Strong report writing and documentation skills.
Graphic design skills in design programs are an asset.
