الوصف الوظيفي:
Position: Resident Engineer
Location: Bethlehem
Number of Vacancies:1
Reports to: Projects Department Manager
Duration: 18 months with possibility of extension

Position Summary:
The Site Engineer is a position within the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund that reports to the Projects Department Manager. The main purpose of this position is to follow up on PCRF infrastructure projects and report  the progress and updates to the Projects Department Manager. 

Detailed Tasks & Responsibilities: 
Follow up the design and tender docs development process with the engineering firms.
Applying  technical coordination between several engineering disciplines.
Assure implementation of project activities in compliance with PCRF requirements, budgets, project specifications, and time plan.
Capability of producing construction drawings and tender documents.
Capability of day today travel to PCRF projects among westbank.
Participate in design development in order to ensure that scope and standards of work are maintained.
Review contractor payments and assure site compliance with all contractual provisions.
Ensure addressing PCRF beneficiaries’ requirements and needs.
Inspect on site all the Engineering Works submitted by the contractor, and provide the needed response.
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
Make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.

Skills/Qualifications: 

Educational Background and Experience Requirements:

BSc. In Civil or Architectural engineering.
3- 6 years experience in construction site supervision and coordination between different engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
Full time dedication for the projects.
Has strong reporting skills.
Had earlier experience in health facilities.
Has the full knowledge of (autocad, office, Ms project, Adobe suite ….etc )
Ability to move between west bank governorates.
Bethlehem or Hebron governorates.
Valid Driving license.
Communication

Fluent in written and spoken Arabic; English language spoken adequately 
Accurately prepares written correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional across languages.
Listens to others and accepts input from team members.
Dress and speaks in a professional and polite manner to all volunteers, staff, beneficiaries and others; 
No political or religious actions on personal social media or within working hours that violate the ethics or values of the PCRF are permitted;
