:About the Position

We are seeking science teachers for the 2020-2021 school year. We are looking for teachers to take on positions in grades 5-8

5th Grade—General Science

6th Grade---Earth & Space Science

7th Grade---Life Science

8th Grade---Physical Science

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about science and exploration. A successful science teacher is someone with a strong understanding of the content who encourages students to ask questions, investigate, and experiment. Our teachers devote a lot of time to making lessons and materials that guide students through information, while also asking students to think critically about the practical applications of science in our daily lives.

The Middle School Science Department is aligned to the performance expectations of the Next Generation Science Standards and prepares to take the SAT II in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics in high school
