Mjalli Investment Group (MIG) is the parent company of more than 20 subsidiary companies with presence specifically in the United States, Palestine and Jordan. MIG is headquartered in the US and has a regional office in Ramallah, Palestine. MIG has a wide range of investments spanning across a range of various sectors including education, healthcare, trade, energy, agriculture, construction, real estate, entertainment and others.

MIG is seeking to hire a legal assistant for its legal department in Ramallah.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Assist Legal Director on the leadership and effective management of resources in the Legal department.

-Keeps documents organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into file database; confirming status with Legal Director.

-Assist on all matters of legal risk.

-Assist in reviewing and providing legal advice on tender documents.

-Assist in reviewing ongoing cases and counsel management accordingly.

-Assist in the legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management. -Assist in providing and interpreting legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff.

-Assist in Policy development.

-Assist in the reviewing of internal policies and procedures and counsel management on legal implications.

-Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles

-Draft correspondence and legal documents, such as contracts.

Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.



Job Requirements
Education:

To have a bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or any related field.

Qualifications:

-BA in Law with a minimum 2 years of experience;

- Preferably licensed to practice law by the Palestinian Bar Association;

-Reporting Skills, Research Skills and Legal Administration Skills;

-Organization and Planning skills;

-Confidentiality & Dependability;

-Impeccable attention to detail;

-Good knowledge of Palestinian Labor Law.

Note: This position is considered a trainee position compensation will be 600 USD monthly for the period of 3 months with possibility of extension.
